The Venue
Our historic venue offers a timeless setting for gatherings of all kinds. Featuring a spacious Main Hall, adjoining Garden Room, patio, and South Lawn, Memorial House offers over 4,200 square feet of indoor space and more than 5,300 square feet of outdoor gathering areas. With space for up to 150 seated guests or 250–300 for a flowing reception, Memorial House is a beautiful setting for bringing people together in the heart of Salt Lake City.
The Main Hall
The centerpiece of Memorial House, featuring beautiful hardwood floors, classic architectural details, elegant chandeliers, and a fireplace mantle. The Main Hall offers 2,050 square feet of event space, accommodating up to 150 guests seated or 250–300 for a free flowing event.
The Garden Room
Featuring natural light, skylights, and beautiful greenery, the Garden Room serves as a welcoming extension of the Main Hall. Connected by French doors, this space is commonly used for catering, bar service, and guest mingling, offering additional room for guests to gather and enjoy the event while keeping the Main Hall open for dining and dancing.
The Patio
Located just outside the Main Hall, the patio offers a welcoming outdoor gathering space with comfortable patio furniture and large market umbrellas for shade. Wrapping around toward the South Lawn, the patio connects the indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a natural flow for guests to mingle, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Memory Grove Park.
The South Lawn
Surrounded by the natural beauty of Memory Grove Park, the South Lawn offers a charming outdoor setting for guests to gather, mingle, and enjoy the fresh air. With open green space and beautiful tree-lined surroundings, the lawn provides room for cocktail tables along the flagstone, lawn games, lounge areas, and more. It's a versatile outdoor gathering space that adds to the overall event experience at Memorial House.
Prep Room
A private space reserved for our clients to use throughout their event. Often referred to as the Bridal Room, this space offers a comfortable place to get ready, take a moment to relax, or keep personal belongings and event essentials tucked away. Whether hosting a wedding or another special gathering, the Prep Room is a convenient space of your own during your time at Memorial House.
The Entry Hallway
The Entry Hallway welcomes guests into Memorial House with historic charm and timeless architectural details. Lined with antique furnishings and decor, the hallway features three antique tables that can be used for guest sign-in, welcome displays, informational materials, gifts and cards, photos, or wedding favors. It offers a beautiful and functional first impression as guests arrive.
