Hourly Rentals

Memorial House offers flexible hourly rentals for those seeking a unique historic space for short-term use. This option is ideal for:

  • Photography sessions

  • Filming sessions

  • Yoga sessions

  • Dance Classes

  • Business Retreats/Meetings

  • Non-profit board meetings

  • Drawing classes (Limited Mess)

  • And more!

Hourly rentals are offered as a raw space and start at $150 per hour.

Rates may vary depending on your specific needs and if you are inquiring during our off season or peak season.

Memorial House is located in a canyon, and Wi-Fi access can be limited. For events or activities requiring significant internet usage, we recommend bringing a personal hotspot. Our Wi-Fi is best suited for light use by a small number of users.

  • 150 parking spaces in a security gate

  • 2 event staff onsite

  • Fifteen 66" round tables (fits 8-10 chairs)

  • Six 6ft tables

  • Five 8ft tables

  • 150 gold banquet chairs (indoor only)

  • 100 white resin folding chairs

  • 6 highboys/cocktail tables

  • One 4ft banquet table

  • One 42" wooden table

  • 5 Patio tables (weather permitting)

  • 20 patio chairs (weather permitting) 

    • Patio furniture cannot be removed​​

The Main Hall

The Main Hall is offered as a raw, open space ideal for filming and photography, small meetings, and classes. Its high ceilings, chandeliers, and large windows provide excellent natural light and a clean, elegant backdrop, making it a great option for creative projects and short-term use that benefit from a flexible, historic setting.

South Lawn

Accessible from the Garden Room, the South Lawn and adjoining patio offer a scenic outdoor extension of Memorial House with views of Memory Grove Park. This area is well suited for hourly rentals such as outdoor filming or photography, small group classes, and casual meetings, with space to spread out and move between indoor and outdoor settings. The patio connects directly to the Main Hall through French doors, allowing for an easy flow between spaces when needed, based on availability.

Garden Room

Connected to the Main Hall by French doors, the Garden Room is a light-filled space surrounded by living plants, making it well suited for hourly rentals such as small meetings, filming or photography, and quiet classes or creative work. The room offers a calm, inviting atmosphere and works especially well as a standalone space or as a complement to the Main Hall for short-term use, depending on availability.

Memory Grove Park

Memorial House is not responsible for renting spaces in Memory Grove Park. Whenever you or your organization would like to hold any kind of activity on Salt Lake City public property, you should fill out an application and submit it to the Department of Public Lands. EventPermits@slcgov.com
